Bettylou Scandling Hubin Scholarship for Music Technology - $1,500 - The Music Technology Scholarship was used for the purchase of an Apple iPad and various technology accessories to enhance performance and enable future opportunities to include a multimedia component as well as assist in studio management and teaching.
Jeffrey Kyle Hutchins, Phi Tau, Allied, performing with Brittany Primavera as the Avid Duo. James and Lola Faust Chamber Music Scholarship - $5,000 - Commissioned new works from Minnesota composer Ted Moore and Australian composer Mark Oliveiro, recorded an album of original works for flute and saxophone, and funded a concert series in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.

Alicia Kopfstein-Penk, Alpha Eta, DC Alumni. Grant-In-Aid - $1,000 - The Mu Phi Epsilon grant-in-aid covered the costs for all copies and copyrights for all the images for her book, Leonard Bernstein's Young People's Concerts, which will be published in 2014 by Scarecrow Press (an imprint of Rowman & Littlefield).
Oliver Kot, Phi Omicron, Western Reserve. Jean Louise Martin Scholarship - $2,000 - Used the money to travel to various audition locations and the National Repertory Orchestra in Breckenridge.
Aaron Larget-Caplan, Beta, Boston Alumni, New England Conservatory. Grant-in-aid - $1,000 - Used the funds from Grant-In-Aid to partly fund an artist exchange to St. Petersburg, Russia through the Educational Bridge Project, where he performed solo and collaborated with Russian artists on three public performances.
James Daniel Jason Lesu'i, Beta Alpha, CSU, Fullerton. Brena Hazzard Voice Scholarship - $5,000 - The Brena Hazzard Voice Scholarship enabled his participation in the OC Ars Vocalis Academy Voice Program headed by Dubravka Zubovic in Rome, Italy. It was a life changing experience!
Kevin Tomas Mills, Beta Alpha, CSU Fullerton. Eleanor Hale Wilson Cello Scholarship - $2,000 - Used the two-thousand dollars to pay for part of the tuition for the Schlern International Music Festival in South Tyrol, Italy. He is ever so grateful because with the help of this money, he is now able to go to this festival and participate in the final round of their music competition.
Maggie Morrison, Phi Omicron, Western Reserve University. Eleanor B. Weiler & Mildred B. Frame Piano Scholarship - $2,000. Bernstein-Crosman Scholarship - $1,000 - Maggie is traveling to Mougins, France for ten days in December to participate in a private piano lesson program.
Katie Salvatore, Phi Xi, Phoenix Alumni, Baylor University. Eleanor Hale Wilson Summer Scholarship - $1,000 - Used the money to pay part of her tuition for the Masterworks Music Festival for the Christian Performing Artist in Winona Lake, Indiana.
Rebecca Saltzman, Lambda, Ithaca College. Ines Pratt Jamison Scholarship - $2,000 - Rebecca is going to Florida in January to work with a Boys and Girls club for a two week after school music program. The money from Mu Phi Epsilon will help to pay for travel expenses as well as to help buy some instruments and music supplies for the club.

Jay William Sutey, Phi Tau, University of North Texas. Gerke Collegiate Artist Scholarship - $1,000 - Jack used the money toward the purchase of a new bassoon.
Wyatt True, Nu, University of Oregon. Beth Landis Violin Scholarship - $5,000 - So far, the funds have been used to purchase editions of early music for his dissertation and to pay expenses for concerts. The rest of the funds will be used to finance performances in the Willamette Valley during the upcoming year and to commission new works for violin and piano. Eleanor Hale Wilson Summer Scholarship - $1,000 - Attended the 2013 Oberlin Baroque Performance Institute at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio.
Heidi Elizabeth Vanderford, Epsilon Sigma, Allied, Pacific Lutheran University. Bettylou Scandling Hubin Scholarship for World Music/Multicultural Music - $1,500 - Ms. Vanderford used the scholarship money to pay for her course fees in Granada, Spain at the "Courses and Interpretation of the Spanish Lyric Song". She worked extensively at this course with Maestra, Teresa Berganza in masterclasses and coachings..

Mabel Henderson Grant for International Study - $1,000 - Used the International Study Grant to spend three weeks in France, Germany, and Italy before her summer program to attend operas and share the knowledge she gained with other young singers. Eleanor Hale Wilson Summer Scholarship - $1,000 - Attended Lingua e Canto at the Scuola Italia in Urbino, Italy where she participated in 3 weeks of intensive Italian classes and opera scenes.
